This 16th century historic mansion has belonged to many illustrious Florentine families over the centuries The castle, protected by an automatic gate, is surrounded by a large, lush private park (10,000 sqm) including vineyards, olive groves, cypress trees, a vegetable garden and a fenced garden with hedges.
Outdoor spaces, equipped with automatic lighting, are enhanced by a wonderful infinity pool (9x11 m), immersed in the greenery and from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Near the pool are two covered pergolas, equipped with deckchairs and sun loungers.
This luxury villa accommodates 16 guests in 5 bedrooms with double beds and 3 with twin beds - all with Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Six bedrooms have private bathrooms while two share one. The ground floor features communal spaces like the Hall of Arms, Tower kitchen, living room, ballroom, sitting room, and library with garden views. The second floor has a living room overlooking the garden. Among the bedrooms, the standout is the Federico suite with 18th-century decor and a 30 sqm bathroom. The Tower room, in the medieval tower, maintains a fairy-tale atmosphere.

This huge Retreat is situated in the wonderful area of Chianti Classico, known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical mark of the Gallo Nero) and for its evocative sceneries and charming villages which are along the “Via Chiantigiana”, from the nearby Greve to Panzano, from Castellina to Radda.
Even Siena, a splendid medieval city full of tradition and artistic masterpieces, is quite near, just 1 hour away by car.
It is also worth visiting the countryside of Siena: here you will find other medieval gems, of incomparable charm and still remained intact, like San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Volterra and San Galgano.
The closest village is San Polo in Chianti , where you can find all basic shops (grocery sore, bakery, butcher, newsstand...) and some restaurants and bars or Grassina. The nearest train station and airport are those of Florence, respectively at 35 minutes and 45 minutes away by car. Florence is 12 km.
For sport lovers, several options are available: trekking and biking paths; tennis courts and football pitches at the Chianti Country Club (12 km); golf courses at the Circolo Golf Ugolino (5 km); riding stables at the Equestrian Center Antellino (11 km)
For shopping lovers, it is advisable to go to The Mall (30 km), a luxury outlet centre where you can find the most famous Italian and International high fashion brands.
Lastly, for those looking for relax, we suggest a visit to the nearby spas of Figline Valdarno (20 km).
