Formerly this building, located outside the baglio (Sicilian walled country estate), held the fishermen’s apartments and the Rais’ house (head of the fishermen).
Today there are three housing units, all with a sea view and a common outdoor space. Each unit has independent access and is equipped with a kitchenette and private toilets. The capacity varies from two to four people, depending on the accommodation, ideal for couples and families.
OLD ADMINISTRATION
Located under the medieval tower, leaning against the rock, it is the oldest nucleus of the Tonnara. Originally it was where the old administration was, which was then transferred to the Palazzina Florio. The house under the tower held the boat of the Rais, the muciara, always ready to take the Rais to the nets at sea. Today there are three housing units, all overlooking the inner cove. TAVERNA
The Taverna is composed of two independent housing units and provides a splendid panoramic view towards the entire baglio of the Tonnara and the sea. Outdoor space is shared.
