VILLA IL POGGIO

This two hundred year old independent country house, renovated, and including a spacious two hectare garden with private pool is delightfully positioned between Tuscany and Umbria, just 20 minutes drive to Arezzo city,  and is surrounded by woods and the green hills. It is an ideal choice for those who desire a vacation in the freshness of nature, surrounded by characteristic villages.

The 6 Bedrooms villa has modern bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen without losing the sensation of living “in the past”. It has stone walls, faces the sun, and has a fantastic view of the valley.

The Villa is surrounded by a large, fenced well equipped garden where you can eat in the shade of centuries-old trees, perhaps using the portable BBQ to cook a “fiorentina” steak accompanied by a glass of Chianti with your friends. A characteristic and intimate corner of the villa is the pergola where you can relax with an aperitive, a good book and enjoy the lovely view.

The villa, which has Wi-Fi and airconditioning, has a delightful private pool (14 x 7 metres, minimum depth 1,5 m and maximum 2,5 m open from May to Oct). There is also a changing room and an external shower.

The interior decorating is original and elegant country-chic with all modern comforts. The villa offers complete privacy for a good holiday and is a comfortable nest for family reunions, in which everyone can feel at home and enjoy the “being together” as well as individual privacy.

Ground Floor: the entrance leads to a small but delightful lounge, dining room, kitchen (two stoves,freezer,ice-maker , microonda, toaster, boiler, dishwasher etc.) , WC with washing machine, pleasant and relaxing breakfast room. Large lounge-room with Sat.TV. and fireplace.On this floor there is also a twin bedroom with A/C and private bathroom with shower. From the spacious and comfortable lounge with its endless view we pass into a large verandah with divans and armchairs.

First Floor: spacious suite with fireplace, double bed, A/C and private bathroom with bath and shower, and sitting room. Second double bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, which shares the above mentioned sitting room and has access to the outside. A double bedroom with private bathroom with shower, bath an A/C.
