Sorrento is well connected to the places of greatest cultural and scenic interest in the area: Capri is 15 minutes away by hydrofoil, Pompeii is 15 minutes away by train, and the beautiful villages along the Amalfi Coast can be easily reached by bus. Sorrento also offers a wide range of eateries, from starred restaurants to characteristic “trattorias” where it is possible to sample the typical cuisine of Sorrento which includes fish dishes as well as many other specialties. Marinella beach is around 500 meters away.
