General

The characteristic of this wonderful 6 bedrooms luxury Villa is certainly the natural light. Most of the windows of the house overlook the Val D'Orcia  and take in the breathtaking views. The house is surrounded by giant bushes of brush, the collection of roses  and oak trees. Light has been a favorite subject for writers , painters and photographers. Italy's light changes, like wine, by the region. In Tuscany it is at its best having " eternal youth".

The house’s interior concept combines a blend of contemporary design and art from the owner’s personal contemporary art collection with antiquities, giving the house a unique character.   The living space includes two large rooms perfect for hosting private parties or relaxing with family and friends in front of the fireplace.  In addition, there is a large dining room with a table for 12 and a separate space dedicated to an office with a large table and color printer.  The house has a modern and fully-equipped kitchen with two dishwashers, six large burners, two ovens, a microwave and a large fridge with a separate freezer and an ice maker.  Equipped with an outdoor grill and a pizza oven and covered in roses, the main external patio provides guests an additional option for meals to its large indoor dining room.

The house has six large bedrooms easily accessible with the elevator, all furnished with king beds and an additional smaller one with a single bed.  All bedrooms are wifi enabled and enjoy satellite TV as well as air conditioning.  The bedrooms on the top floor all enjoy breath-taking views of the valley and the gardens, while those on the bottom floor enjoy private entrance into the house.  Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, equipped with showers  and a hairdryer.   In the basement, there is a large laundry  room area with two washing machines and one dryer.

The house sits on a two acre, fenced-in property and is flanked by spacious (automatically-watered) lawns and terraces with several different outdoor seating areas.

Within the property is a unique meditation garden ideal for reading and relaxing, and a main garden with a varied rose collection.  The gardens are complemented by two large wooden- floor decks that provide guests with unique views of the valley and surrounding towns. Guests will also enjoy fresh fruit, eggs and vegetables from house’s own vegetable garden, chicken pen and orchard.

Guests will enjoy the 17x5 meter two-sides infinity pool, with breathtaking views across the valley which extends from Radicofani to Pienza.  Off to the side, is a small gym allowing guests the opportunity to exercise using top of the line weighted cable resistance training equipment.

Whether visiting the villages, enjoying the outdoors, or lounging around the house, it is truly the place where one can experience "la dolce vita" amid the Tuscan countryside.
